That was a beautiful cake. At her first marriage, my human tried to save hers but it was very hard after a year.

Vladmir is a great name for a locust!! I heard those are good eatin's, even for a hooman! (Daddy was in the marines, so every time mommy finds an icky, nasty bug she tells him he should eat it so he doesn't forget his training). Unless he's Vladmir the Impaler of Locusts. Then he might just keep other locusts out of your building. (but then you wouldn't have tasty locust snacks!)
Oh, and it's cool that your momma's German! Ours is like... everything from Northern Europe. And then some.

Mommy said she has no clue how her & Daddy's wedding cake tasted as she never had a chance to eat a piece at the wedding.
On their one year anniversary they were going to eat the top but it was freezer burned. ~S,S & C
Too bad I didn't know about this -- I would have been happy to come over and help you dispose of the cake. My humans saved their top and it was still okay a year later. At least I thought so when they let me taste some icing.
