Friends i just found out yesterday that a co-worker of mine's house burned down. while she was at work, and the kids were at school, and her mom was at work, it burned down.
A neighbor and friend- broke in and saved their little dog! How amazing! The dog is fine and happy and healthy- he just misses his home.
ALL of their christmas presents were destroyed. Everything. They have no where to go. They have no presents for the holidays. Her sister is 5 years old, and will be having no christmas this year.
My co-workers and i will be donating money, toys, anything we can think of for the family. Could you imagine a christmas like that?

What a great neighbor to save the dog! This is a terrible thing to happen at any time of year, but harder to deal with during the holidays. You and your coworkers are very caring and I know you will help make their lives a little brighter.

What a horrible blow and there is never a good time for a fire but right up to the holidays that is bad. We are really sorry to hear this and we will keep them all in our prayers, thankfully though everyone was OK and will all still be together at Christmas.
