How i came to be.

This is my story!

Last june, my fur momma wandered onto these peoples porchz. She was pregnant! They tried to find her momma beanie, but it looked like she had been dumped into the woods, probably because they didn't want to deal with kittens! Me and my brother and sisters were born on the 10th.

The beans were very nice to me, took care of me and everything.

This is my Fur Momma- "lilly" :

The beans thought my fur momma was the sweetest thing, so they took good care of her, and decided to keep her as their own. they had recently lost their other kitty, so it seemed everyone showed up at the right time.

When i was 6 weeks old, my beans took me to the vet to start my kitty shots, and to get a check up. This girl was the tech, and she and the doctor (the same one who is monitoring my lumpies) thought we were really cute.

I had one black brother, who got that shot that day with me, and he went home with a friend of the family. I never saw him again after that. Well, this girl that was the tech thought we were really cute. The bean said in a few months, she would be getting ready to give us away, after we had all our shots.

A few months went by, and the bean brought us back in. She said that she was still looking for homes. bean was going to keep one of us, the one that looked just like my fur momma.

The same girl tech came in the room this time, and said how much she really liked me. I have a crooked tail- the tip looks like a little lightning bolt.... but you can't tell unless you touch it. Bean said that she would give me to the tech for free. the girl was getting ready to get married- and explained that she wouldn't have the house until after the honeymoon... and the bean said she would keep me there until this girl got back.

So, the girl went and talked to her finance, because she needed him to decide if he liked me too. they showed up to take a look at me.

This is me in the girl's arms. Look how tiny i was!

This is my sister Phoebe, who looks like our momma. She's the one that was kept.

This is my other sister- who went home with another family the next night.

This is me again, inside a little house thing.

And this is me sleeping with my sister phoebe.

the girl and guy decided they liked me a whole lot... and after the honeymoon, they picked me up, and they've been my beans ever since. That was when i was about 3 months old. This is my story of how i came to live with my beanies.

You are one lucky kitty to have been so well looked after from birth. Your fur family members are all very pretty and cute too!

Now that you mention it we do have those 'egyptian' lines. Aren't they cute?

What a great story! It looks like your sister Phoebe was a dilute calico, just like me! And I think your Fur Momma sure was pretty.

What a lovely Gotcha story, and luckily you found a good forever home.

Tesla dear, we're purrin' for you about your lumps!

Hey, Tesla, I am thinking of putting together a post called 'The Carnival of the White + Tabbie' with you, Parker, Victor, Beau Beau and Jeter Harris in it. I hope that you and the others won't mind me taking a small photo from your blogs (not the profile photo, that would be too easy and not at all challenging). The idea is to ask the other kitties to put the right name to the pics. What do you think?
